The iSANZ (Information Security Awards New Zealand) Board is delighted to announce that Dame Susan Devoy will deliver a keynote speech at the 2023 iSANZ Awards.
Kendra Ross, Chair of the iSANZ Board says Dame Susan Devoy’s exceptional achievements and expertise as a former world champion squash player and Race Relations Commissioner make her the perfect choice to inspire and enlighten the information security community.
“We’re thrilled to have Dame Susan Devoy as our keynote speaker for the 2023 iSANZ Awards. Her talk will focus on diversity and inclusion, which is an area of crucial importance in our industry.

The iSANZ Awards, now in its 9th year, is dedicated to celebrating excellence in information security and recognising the outstanding achievements of Aotearoa’s finest information security professionals and companies.
This year’s event, to be hosted by New Zealand television personality Te Radar (Andrew Lumsden), will take place on 14 November at Te Papa Museum in Wellington.
During the awards ceremony, winners will be announced in six categories:
- Senior Cyber Security Professional of the Year
- Security Team of the Year
- Project/Awareness Initiative of the Year
- NZ Secure Development Team of the Year
- Start-up or New Business of the Year
- Up and Coming Cyber Security Star of the Year
